Knock on Any Door
Overview:
A crusading lawyer, Morton, fighting to save a juvenile delinquent charged with murder. He defends a hoodlum of murder, using the oppressiveness of the slums to appeal to the court. In opposition to a law-and-order prosecutor, Morton argues that Nick's deprived upbringing led to his life of crime.
